Japanese Fusion Restaurant - Ma Maison

Ma Maison @ Bugis Junction

Ma Maison is a Japanese fusion restaurant which always makes me curious about the food every time I pass the restaurant. So that day, my friend and I planned to meet up during lunch time. We were both curious about this restaurant and were excited to finally enter the restaurant. That day, the design of the restaurant used theme of Halloween. We both were taken at the corner of the restaurant. We ordered the lunch set menu.

My friend ordered Hamburger Steak Set ($16.80++) and I ordered Pasta Set ($15.50++). We also ordered Hot Potato Gratin ($7.80++). Each menu has soup as starter (that day, they served asparagus soup), bread with butter and jam (this one you can pick whether you want a plate of rice or bread) and a plate of fresh salad.

The asparagus soup was delicious. Creamy and tasty. We ate the bread by dipping it into the soup. What a perfect combination!

The salad was also great. Very fresh and I wondered what sauce they did use because it was really good.

The main dish of mine which was Pasta Set also really amazed me. There were Dori steak with mushroom sauce, mashed potato, corns and carrots and the pasta with seaweed. I love the food so much. Incredibly delicious.

My friend's menu, Hamburger Steak set was also delicious. The beef was really tender, the sauce was perfectly blend. The egg was delicious. The vegetable was also very fresh.

The hot potato gratin was really good. The combination of egg yolk and the cheese plus the potato was really perfect. I love the texture and the taste.

Both of us really loved our lunch over there. The service was also really good, let alone the food. This is absolutely a recommended place for you (if you're interested).
