Noodle is one of my favourite food from what you may see some of my noodle reviews here. In Singapore, they also have the local noodle such as ban mian, bak chor mee and etc. But I prefer Indonesian noodle or bakmi. Until one day, my friend took my husband and me to a noodle restaurant. Since then, this place is on the top of my favourite noodle lists in Singapore.

Located in Tanjong Katong, this place looks like other restaurants. When you enter the restaurant, the server will ask "
Have it here?" or "
Da Bao?" Da Bao means "to take away food". So, on that weekend, my husband and I went back there. When we arrived, the place was almost fully-seated.
We were given a menu and then we ticked our choices on it. After that, we just gave the menu and paid for our choices at the cashier.

While waiting for the meal, we noticed that there was a small table which had small jars of chili pickles on it, sweet chili sauce and
PORK LARD!! We could take them as many as we wanted.

The server came back with our orders within a few minutes. The aroma from the noodle bowls was really good. Inside of the bowl, there were noodle, chasio, dumplings and vegetables. We also ordered fried dumplings.

The noodle itself tasted really good and the texture was perfectly firm. If you wonder how the taste likes, it's as same as bakmi. Perfectly balanced. To accompany the food, we ordered Water Chestnut. It's refreshing and it goes well with the noodle.

For some of you who love eating spicy food, this place has a special chili. It has a warning on the bottle. I thought it's like other chilis I have tried in Singapore which I know it's not spicy at all. But I warn you, please don't squeeze this chili a lot. Dangerously spicy like I couldn't even believe.

The location is quite far but it's so worthy. Therefore, if you miss Indonesian noodle or if you want to try different kinds of noodle in Singapore, this place is totally recommended.
